We've been studying stories written about life in war-torn countries and countries with incredibly corrupt political structures. Do you think the U.S. government is corrupt? Is it more or less corrupt than the governments in the other countries we've studied -- countries where genocide and child slavery are the norm rather than the exception? What do you think is the function of the ideal government? 

i think that the U.S. government is corrupted, although it is not as corrupted than the countries we've studied. The U.S. today don't allow genocide and child slavery in the country and i believe that some countries still have genocide and slavery. The U.S government provided the country good check and balance where one group will not achieve great power.  the average person in the us do have a voice. what i see in other countries that we've studied, they shows a lots of argument how their gorvnment is not helping and keeping the balance in the country.

The children's uncle and caretaker, Fofo Kpee, sells them into slavery. How does Fofo's poverty and vanity contribute to his unthinkable actions? Do his pangs of conscience redeem him for you?

Uncle Fofo Kpee, sells two children's into slavery because his poverty and vanity contribute to his unthinkable actions.  He rushed into wanting to be rich badly and end up with consequences.  Fofo business is to transport people over the boarder and get some quick cash in return but it is really dangerous, because doing what he do is illegal and if he was caught; the whole mission is doom. When Fofo Kpee would earn cash it would be put into food and other useful things. He was told that he would make a lots of money and would be able to  leave the poor standard life he was in. He received a Nanfang; a motorcycle as an extra rewards for his first step into the slavery trading business. Fofo Kpee had to learn the hard way that money can't buy everything. 

Do his pangs of conscience redeem him for you? Due to his unthinkable actions and selfish act. He is a man that lied and is not trustworthy. For an example he were supposed to deliver a total of five kids to big guy but he only bought two. Fofo made many promises to everyone and in the end he couldn't  kept his promise. Whatever that he had done in the story which is being unfaithful and being completely dishonest. He do not deserve the right to be with his family or have a family.

Kotchikpa seen the Nanfang that his uncle got and during his sleep the Nanfang followed him into his dream. the Nanfang symbolize him being rich, happy a lots of friends and a new living style. the nanfang is like a wife to him.

What should we expect from the media; how can we hold them accountable? 

We must expect the media to give us updated daily information. The media is not only in one part of a country in the world but, spread throughout. One person is not enough to keep everyone entertain. The media is a groups of people that tries to get very important stories reach out to others and earn credibility on their report. The media sometime take a story to sudden level of phonies although due to large amount of people and sources on the story people would react differential and share of opinions. I would say that we need the media to step up and work together on major global topic rather then fighting on who get the story first or which is better. 

What is the level of public responsibility when issues are brought to light by the media 

The media sometime bring awareness everywhere depend on the trending topic. The public tend to be simple minded for an example, people react to what they see, feel, and hear if, the story is worldwide trending and only the media are allow to see, the only thing non media people could do is believe and spread it. The responsibilty of the public is important because, if no people act or knows about it the problem could not be solve. On every story the media say people should be open minded and believe what you believe in.

Hotel in Rwanda vs. “My parent bedroom”

Hotel in Rwanda was an inspirational movie in many great ways compare to the book. The movie shows a lot of different emotion and what each character would do during different situation. Every minute of the film that has shown it felt as I were out there with them and during the sadness I have felt their soar. The book was from one point of view, which is the young child and a comparison to Paul, an adult in the movie. I like the movie much better because, the way it shows other that they are really in genocide and what people would do to struggle to survive. Reading the book was kind of difficult then watching. Some people can’t picture what their reading.

I believe all artists should be able to step into other people situations because,  everyone is different from each other and it a great way to shows, how could this person step into this person shoe when that person is different race. 

Immaculee Ilibagiza would agree because, during the genocide everyone were in different situation. She would had felt sad if she read "My parents' Bedroom". She were one of the lucky peoples that survived.
